You have to create two user profiles. One profile will be used by your marketing manager (the guy with the 21'' LCD who calls you all the time to show him how to calculate sums in OpenOffice Calc). The other profile will be used by the organization's network operations team. Your manager asks for an intuitive and user-friendly desktop, that impresses his clients when displayed in his silver 21'' LCD. He uses Office and Internet applications constantly, and needs them easily accessible at all times. The Network Operations Team folks just need something that is simple and functional. They need stability and speed, and are experienced computer users.
You will be asked to demonstrate the look and feel, as well as the basic functionality of each profile in class.
For each of the following categories, mention a software package that fulfills its mission on the console and one that uses the X Window system.
