AncientGreek font

AncientGreek started using Alexey Kryukov's "Old Standard TT" font for Ibycus Keyboard Layout active style since v. 1.4-rc1. As new features are added to the extension, the font proved inadequate to display all desired characters.

The way to go from there would be to either find another font to satisfy out needs, or edit the currently used font. Finding a font that would satisfy our needs proved to be very difficult, provided that it should be originally published under an open source license which would permit its redistribution.

So, the way to go is to edit Alexey Kryukov's "Old Standard TT" font and bring it to AncientGreek needs.

Alexey Kryukov's "Old Standard TT" is published under the SIL Open Font License (OFL), which under PERMISSION & CONDITIONS clearly states:

3) No Modified Version of the Font Software may use the Reserved Font
Name(s) unless explicit written permission is granted by the corresponding
Copyright Holder. This restriction only applies to the primary font name as
presented to the users.
"

I have tried to contact Alexey Kryukov but got no answer, so I have just renamed "Old Standard TT" to "AncientGreek", increasing the version number from 2.0.2 to 2.0.3.

In case you have already set Old Standard TT as default font for Ibycus Keyboard Layout, you should change it to AncientGreek.

You can do that form the Main Dialog / Ibycus Keyboard Layout. Click on the dots.png button next to Font Definition.

On the Ibycus Keyboard Layout Font dialog click on the edit-redo.png button. Then follow the instructions to install the font on your system.

About the font^
